1. Collect the sample and label the sample container with a barcode
- The required material type and volume needed for analysis are listed on our portal under each specific test.
- Beware of the risk of confusion! Color code: our serum tubes are RED, EDTA tubes are PURPLE.
- Volume matters: When collecting blood, please pay attention to the fill line, which differs depending on the tube.
- Too much volume may cause the blood to clot.
- If you don’t have a barcode, you can generate one in the portal.
- If you’re not yet our client, please send us the form – we’ll contact you, create a client account in the portal, and send a free starter package.

2. Order the test in the Customer Panel or Veteo app
- Log in to your Customer Panel or the Veteo app and go to the “Test Order” section. (If you don’t have access yet, please fill out the form.)
- Fill in the owner and patient information, select the desired test, and indicate the type of sample being sent. Please remember that serum or plasma should be sent after centrifugation.
- Enter the barcode number that you used to label all samples for the order. If you don’t have a barcode, you can generate one in the “missing code” field. Also label the sample containers with this code.
- Please do not include a printed test request with the sample.
3. Safely pack and send the samples
- Label the bag in which you pack the samples for the order with the same barcode.
- Ensure that the material is properly secured.

4. Download test results
- Lab test results can be downloaded directly in your Customer Panel or via the Veteo app.
- Integration with most veterinary software providers is underway.
5. Billing
- Tests are billed monthly to the sender. An invoice with an overview of tests conducted in the previous month is sent to the ordering address.Invoices are also available in the Customer Panel or the Veteo app.
- (Billing directly to the animal owner is under development and will be available soon.)
